Open Studio at Cité Internationale des Arts on April 16, Paris

As part of my artist residency at Cité Internationale des Arts, I’m pleased to be opening my studio to the public on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 from 6 to 9 pm. Several other Artists-in-Residence here will be have their studios open as well, across the Marais campus. All are welcome.

I’ll be showing what I have been working on while I’ve been in residence at Cité. This includes a couple Woven Portrait projects that won’t be complete until after the residency concludes and I am back in New York (but I’ll be happy to show preliminary images and studies), four large mixed-media artworks focusing on pattern and abstraction, one commissioned work, and some casual photographs taken around the city. I will try also to show some of the tools and materials I work with and the natural state of the space in which I work, though the necessity of having to physically accommodate many visitors into the studio will require me to at least rearrange and/or remove some things.

It has been a pleasure to participate in the Cité residency program. While the cost and time required is not easy to accommodate, I am thankful to have had the opportunity to work in these unique circumstances.

My studio is located at:
